List of Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program Check Distribution Dates & Sites Now Available

The Farmers Market Nutrition (FMNP) program kicked off on June 1, with income-qualified Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) and Seniors (60+) beginning to use their allotted checks to buy locally grown fresh fruit, vegetables, cut herbs, and honey from authorized farmers at Maryland farmers markets.

This week, the locations, dates, and times for the distribution of the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program were announced in two formats: a statewide LIST and a handy, searchable MAP.

Managed by the Maryland Department of Agriculture and funded by USDA, more information on the program can be found here.  Not sure if your farmers market accepts these benefits?  Check this map to find out.
